Blackberry-mango smoothie

A great way to start off your day.


Any fruit, blended with banana and coconut milk makes for a great smoothie. But this combination is particularly pleasing. I always keep organic fruit in my freezer for use in smoothies or mixed in with cereal. Frozen fruit works better in smoothies (in my opinion) because then you get that frozen milkshake consistency, without having to add ice.


1 package of frozen organic blackberries
1 package frozen mango
1 can of coconut milk (not lite!)
1 banana
1/2 Tablespoon honey, agave syrup or other sweetener of your choice


Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Thickness can be adjust by added more banana (to make it thicker) or more liquid.
