Grilled Peaches

The perfect dessert for a summer potluck.

This isn’t really a recipe. Its more like a recipe idea! Because there’s not much to the instructions. 🙂 Have you ever tried grilling fruit at your summer barbecue? If not, you don’t know what your missing!! Peaches are especially great grilled. And so are mangoes! Something about the intense heat really brings out the sweetness and juiciness. Make sure your fruit are ripe.

4 ripe peaches
grapeseed oil (or other neutral tasting oil)

Slice the peaches in half and remove the pit. Brush each half (cut-side) with grapeseed oil. If they are large peaches, you could quarter them. But don’t slice them small enough that they could fall through the grill slats. That would be really sad.

Grill cut-sides over medium flame until softened and grill marks appear. Serve as is, with plenty of napkins. Or slice and put in salads or over ice cream.
