Did you know that 70% of our immune system lies in our guts? That’s why, no matter what illness or disease we might have been diagnosed with, good gut health is crucial for healing. And a healthy gut microbiome is the key to good gut health. This means providing the right kind of environment for our gut bacteria, which we can do through, proper diet, as well as probiotics, and even “pre-biotics” (food for the probiotics to do their work).
Of course, if you are experiencing severe gut dysbiosis, you may need a little more intervention from a functional medicine doctor who can help you to kill the bad bacteria, while you foster the good gut bacteria.
